Grass: Eat with spacebar button. Holding down the spacebar results in eating the grass. Eating grass recovers part of your energy bar.

Branches: Pick up with spacebar button. Holding down the spacebar results in having a branch in Beaver’s mouth. Releasing the spacebar causes the branch to drop. Drop the branch near dam area to build dam. Dam area is indicated by two stones by the river. This will result in progress in the construction of the dam. Chopping trees: Chop trees with spacebar button. Holding down the spacebar results in chopping the tree. After tree drops, it will release more branches to pick up. Chopping trees is consuming your energy bar.
